Pursuant to the Center’s Board of Trustees Decree No. 1 of 2021, the applicant shall:
be a natural person with legal capacity;
hold a university degree;
have a good behavior and reputation;
meet any of the following experience requirements in the non-banking financial activity that he/she wishes to enroll;
at least (10) years of experience;
at least (7) years of experience for master’s degree holders; or
at least (5) years of experience for Ph.D. holders.
pass the programs and training courses designated by the center;
not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor penalty in a crime affecting honor or trust or in one of the serious crimes[1]; and
not have been previously disciplinary off-duty or banned from practicing any other profession, and no administrative measure has been taken against him/her during the (3) years prior the application for registration, with the exception of warnings.
The application fee is EGP300.
The CV of the applicant should be appended to the application.
The registration applications will be examined and reviewed by the Center and the selected applicants will be called for personal interviews.
The condition of the personal interview is not required for the following:
The governmental officials as defined in the law No. 106 of 2013;
Any person has held the position of president, vice president, or member of the board of directors of an international, regional, or local body concerned with banking or non-bank financing, investment, or credit, for a period of not less than two years;
Ex. Supreme court judges or any judges in equivalent judicial authorities;
Whoever assumed the management of one of the arbitration and mediation centers or institutions established under an international or regional agreements or law;
University professors who are specialized in banking or non-bank financing, investment, or credit fields; and
Have an experience as an arbitrator in 4 or more arbitration cases or at least 4 mediation procedures.
The registration fee amounts to EGP 5000/ each financial activity, to be paid once upon registration.
The registration is valid for (3) years.
