Counselor Dr. Marian Kaldas brings a distinguished legal and academic background to her role as Executive Director of the Egyptian Center for Arbitration and Settlement of Non-Banking Financial Disputes.
Dr. Kaldas has held several prominent positions within the Administrative Prosecution and the Ministry of Justice, including serving as a member of the Technical Office of the General Administration of Arbitration and International Disputes. She is also a registered arbitrator on the Ministry of Justice’s official list and has contributed her expertise as a member of the Legislative Committee of the National Council for Women.
Her academic achievements are equally notable. Dr. Kaldas earned her Ph.D. in Law with general distinction and honors from the University of Montreal, Canada, and holds a Master’s degree in Law from Indiana University, USA. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
In accordance with the Center’s Statute, the Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the Center’s procedural, financial, and administrative operations. In this capacity, Dr. Kaldas ensures the smooth execution of the Center’s mission and represents the Center before judicial bodies and external entities.
